Ethical Needs of Islamic Education Teachers in Universities from the Perspective of Hadith-Based Maaref
Seyyed hasan Mohammadi , Zohre Abbasi
Payam Noor University
Abstract:   (754 Views)
Since educational environments, especially universities, have an important task in educating people, it is necessary to observe the professional ethics of university professors due to their tremendous influence on students. Education professors at universities are considered to be examples of pious, chosen and qualified with divine ethics. Therefore, it is appropriate for respected professors to pay attention to the importance of their social and divine role and duty towards the young generation, in addition to improving their academic level, they should have appropriate insight and behavior so that they can practically take more effective steps in the way of making students more familiar with Islamic ethics and education. Therefore, the present research, with the library method and the use of religious sources, has descriptively and analytically addressed the teacher's moral needs in three stages before, during and after teaching. The need for self-improvement, self-efficacy and knowledge and insight before teaching, as well as cleanliness and appearance, good manners and self-restraint while teaching and the necessity of constant communication with students, coordination of speech and actions, following up on curricular and non-curricular topics of students after teaching are among the characteristics. The moral of every professor is especially the teacher of Islamic education. The best way to improve teaching ethics is to try to prepare and compile a code of ethics in universities with the help of authorities and experts and to institutionalize this in universities.
